I really haven't noticed a difference with the Powerbond compared to the stock pulley when it comes to charging. My headlights would dim a little bit with the stock pulley when I had the A/C on and the system hit hard. Now running the stereo system cranked up all the way, A/C on full blast, headlights on and turn signals flashing all at the same time, and sitting still would probably be a little too much for the stock alternator to handle. I don't drive around with the stereo cranked up all the time, turn it down when I come to a stop light out of respect for others around me, usually only use A/C during the day because most nights here in Alabama you can roll the windows down and get a nice breeze. For me it works fine, but you being in Texas it probably stays a little hotter over there so you need your A/C all the time.
