Well, i guess i must of been smoking ALOT becuz the nuts were practically finger loose. I think i grabed the wrong wrench (inch/lbs) and used that. Or maybe it was just another one of my brain farts!!!!

Anyways, torqued them down to about 85FT/lbs and all seems fine. I had a horrible time getting to the rear nuts on the bottom, there is absolutely NO room to manuever a wrench with that stupid evaporator unit there.... no way!!!! Got the ones in the middle torque down good, but the bottom rear two are not 100% though not finger tight either... anyone recommend a way to get to them.

So, all if fine, the elak from the front is gone though i feel its not 100%, yet. Will change the oil and will need another radiator over flow canister. For some reason, mine now has a slit and it shoots out coolant everywhere... like a bad gasket!! Anyone recommend using some kind of sealant for this or should i replace it?

 

Proper torque on the heads and also the torque SEQUENCE is absolutely critical to getting a good lasting seal. You can actually warp the heads if you go out of sequence.
