Default pushrod length

hey gonna measure them tomorrow just didnt know if anyone had a similar set up and what worked best for them..
243 heads with manley valves..
comp 850 lifter
02 ls6 cam
comp pro magnum rockers

i know that some people had better luck with less valvetrain noise with a 7.425" pushrod on a tr224 .. so just lookin for opinions/experiences.. as said before i will be measuring them within the next day or so
thanks

You might already know about it, but here's a calculator that might help you:

I'm trying to figure this out too, but only with .010 milled 243's and stock rockers and lifters. Are your rockers adjustable?

Ask CompCams what lifter preload they recommend and then whip out the adjustable pushrod and dial gauge. Pretty simple.
