Default 6.0 Iron Block Oversize limit

Any one with experience in over boring a 6.0 Iron Block, whats the usual limit?

i think .060 is the absolute limit, with sonic testing. Most people go .030 over.

A few blocks have actually gone .080 over but .060 over is about the usual limit.

Shooting for 427 ci with a stroker crank (4.060" bore, 4.125" stroke) equals 427ci.

You just need to sonic test before boring. It took me two blocks to find one that was thick enough, and I had it offset bored to maximize wall thickness on a .060 over setup. You could buy the new 6.2L truck block that is a 4.06 or 4.065 bore. The block is around 750, and would be cheaper than a used iron block, plus sonic testing (90 dollars for each block), and all the necessary machine work. Just a heads up though.
