I am thinking of going from my 383 CI to 422 CI.
Did any body experience any problems with them? Do they have any sleeve problem? Does anyone recommend a different shop to get it from? How is the reliability of these big bore? I want to drive it every day!!

Yeah, I am thinking about MTI, they do good work!

ARE sells the 422 block for $2400. I have no idea what MTI charges! If it was in the same neighborhood I might go there. I just want to see my options.

MTI's told me their price is $2500 plus core.

 

ARE has a special on blocks going on right now. (see sponser section) I'm not sure that one is included but you should GIT w/ them.
