Default oh boy another t-rex question

I tryed searching but couldnt find anything.

I was wonderind if anybody on here has driven the t-rex on stock 3:42 gears.
i cant afford a gear swap right now because it costs 1200 just for a new differential with new gears. so is it ok to drive with the stock gears? I' mostly concerned with the low end and how it drives in sixth gear. car is an m6 2000 vette.
I was thinking about going this cam with some ls6 I have sitting in my garage and fast. should be good for around 450rwhp.

thanks guys

Adam

yea, i drove it on stock 3.42 gears, its definatly driveable you just need to give it lil more rpm on take off so it dont lug down to bad, after that it flies right along just fine even in 6th gear.

on a side note, this is y i hate vettes, gear swap cost me 300 bucks

It will feel like you are taking off in second gear for the most part. Probably not that severe though. and.........$1200.00?????!!!?!?!!! Where are you taking it too, and is it really that expensive on a vette vs. and F-Body? if so...... damn!

just blip the throttle up to about 2k before you take off and it should not be a problem untill the clutch takes a dump from not being ableto keep your foot out of it.
