I did the conversion already, but from what others wrote there is a better way can you describe how to do it?

I'm having some of the same issues. Under boost my breather attached to the STS contol valve belches oil out all over the place. I rigged something up to catch it for now but am looking for a permanent and maintainable solution.
The conversion is not something I wish to do, nor do I know if it will work on the 5.3l truck engine.
Thread over on the truck side......

I'm having a similar condition ever since my cam swap. Getting oil in my intake and pushing past upper seals

Hmmmmmmmm...all I did was use the LS6 valley cover, a stock replacement PCV valve (I tried the fixed orifice PCV valve from the trucks, and it was annoying as **** as it whistled, and still sucked oil through) into an AMW catch can, and then back to the manifold. The fresh air source from the TB to the valve cover is plugged, and I use a Metco breather for the oil fill cap for extra ventilation (I tried the new GM vented oil cap, and it didn't vent for ****). My oil pressure is very good (45-50 psi @ hot idle), but I'm still pulling a little oil into my catch can. Passenger side valve cover is plugged.
