Default 5.3 LS1 questions.

I've not seen a 5.3 engine and would like some info please.

Is it the same block casting as 5.7 LS1?
What is it's bore and stroke, does it use same crank as LS1? Or does it use same pistons and less stroke with longer rods?

Thanks guys.

Thank you YellowLS1truck for the info. Do you happen to know if it's the same aluminium block but with thicker sleeves? |

Dratt, so it's only the LS1/6 which have the aluminium blocks then, the rest being truck or pick up motors?

Thanks guys for the info and link. I am looking for the best option of making a maximum of 5.0 litres with an aluminium block. For now it looks like mods with the 5.7 block and maybe sleeve it down.
