I want to install a set of 2005 Corvette heads # 243 on my 2001 TransAm. Does anyone know FOR SURE what I need to do or change to make the heads work ? I installed a 2002 ZO6 cam and push rods a few months ago and it works great. Will I use the same push rods ? what about head bolts ?

 

ls2 heads are ls6 heads sans the lightweight valves. there a direct bolt on.

 

PR's should still work unless you mill or run a smaller gasket. You wont have too much of a slack problem with the Z06 cam.
