Default wiring ?

not sure if this is the right place to post this, but.
the harness that has the crank position senor, o2, and the plug for the oil pan, how does that get routed around the header? It seems to be sitting on the header ready to melt.

It is normaly routed inbetween the headers and the fram rail. It is a poor setup when headers are installed. You will need to protect them the best you can with some good heat wrap, is about all you can do..

I did not like doing that so I extended all of those wires in that harness(o2, oil level, crank, starter solenoid) and routed them up the back of the block and over to the PCM. I also had to do this on a buddys car due to the fact that his had melted twice in the past. Which started to cause problems with the front 02. It is a bit of work but, will save yourself the major problems down the road.
