It's a threshold met by few, what does it take to be one of them? I'd rather go LSx than supercharged 496. So beef the internals to the hilt and grab some turbos? Oh yeah, how much $?

It costs a few bucks to do it. erlperformance.com has a LS2 500ci block with forged internals. If you added a twin turbo to that, with a set of LS7 heads it is doable.

A big forced and built motor with 1 or 2 big ol turbos runnin a lot of boost. Id say get a built 427 (10-15k depending on if you install, what parts you get and what not, and a ncie turbo set up-(10k) Trans (2k) rear (2k) Fuel system (No idea since i havent bothered to look sinc eill never need one, haha assume a grand at least. Im sure there are a few motor factors but it will definately be over 20k into motor/drivetrain, more close to 30 at least id guess. However, what are you going to use that power for? thats a lot, haha

I agree. The erlperformance 500ci LS2 is just under $10K, but comes with all forged internals. $4K for heads $12k for a twin turbo package, and you still need an intake system and to control it all. $30K easily.
