Looking for some cam advise/suggestion

I have a ls1 383 4in stroke ect.Heads are Patriot stage2 ls6 2.05/1.60 compression is 10.75:1.My current cam is a comp xer 224/228 .581/.588 114.I will be using 200-250 tnt wet shot.

I was looking for some suggestions on a better cam for my set up.I want to stay with a negative overlap for CA emissions.I was looking at the MTI DR1 grind I believe it is a 228/232 116 that is a -2 overlap if I'm not mistaken.Does any one have any better suggestions for my setup?

Have you considered a direct port? I would think that the R1 would have 6* of overlap.

Ya i think that cam has +6 overlap which would require a cam change for smog time.
