power outlook ok so what kinda power can i expect with a 402 stroker heads and cam plus bolt ons? would 700 be way to much or what? any help would be great since it will help me decide where my build up goes. either N/A or forced induction
Judging by other 402 buildups I would expect 500rwhp with 93 octane and the compression to go with it and a small cam with FAST 90/90 setup. A very healthy cam would put you closer to 525rwhp+ on pump gas.
If you are dreaming of 700rwhp you either need a 150-200hp nitrous shot or go forced induction. Remember... putting down 500rwhp to the pavement can be a challenge.
If you are making over 600rwhp don't expect your 4L60E to last long... or a stock T56 if you are drag racing.
What are your goals et/mph wise? Or is it strictly 700hp?

so the cams a 250 246 on a 114. the stroker kit is running about 11-1 compression. still think ikll be lucky to get 525 rwp? with 525 could i run 11s maybe 10's? would it be cheaper to go N/Aor do a 402 with a procharger. you guys are being a big help
