Lingenfelter Update???
Hey guys from LPE, what's the latest on John. I have never met him but have been a fan of his work for as long as I can remember. The last update didn't sound super promising, I was hoping for some better news.
John is still in our prayers. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

Hi Derek -
Unfourtunately, things haven't changed much, you can check out this link for the latest news:

I would like to squash any rumors that John had passed on, that is totally untrue, and we all expect him to come back to work one of these days.
We really appreciate all of the thoughts from everybody, and I'm sure John would too.

I beleive he was driving the pro stock style Chevrolet Cavilier in a NHRA import drag race series event. Someone correct me if I'am wrong but I believe that was what he was driving

Re: Lingenfelter Update???
You are correct, John's '02 Cavalier was powered by a Turbo 4cyl, and capable of 6 second runs at about 200MPH. He had just set a new speed record on the previous run, and was in the process of backing up the record, and winning the class championship when he crashed.
