Does anybody have one of these cams installed in their car?
The XR273HR is Comp part # 54-416-11 and the XR277HR is part # 54-218-11.
The 273 is 220/224 duration, 530/534 lift 112 LSA
The 277 is 224/228 duration, 534/537 lift 112 LSA
Just wondered how you like the driving characteristics and performance of these cams.

Gosh, I can't believe nobody on the site is running one of the cams. I'm not sure, but they seem to take a similar approach to lobe configuration as the crane quick lift type cams.
Actually, these would seem to be good cams to run with the crane/vhp 1.8 gold rockers.
Anybody out there with experience with these cams pipe in. I know these would be considered "baby cams" and you might expose yourself to ridicule if you admit you replaced the stock cam with a "baby cam" because so many people here are resolute that the best cam is the biggest cam that makes the most dyno HP, but that isn't necessarily what translates to a good running car on the street & strip.
Come on now, don't be embarressed, help a brother out.
