Question ok to change just 1 headgasket?

well i had to fix a ported head, now im ready to reasemble....

is it ok to do only 1 side?

some one told me i should do both?

what does everyone think?

As long as you are using the same gasket / compressed thickness then you should be good to go.

I agree, no problems. Unless you switch gasket types.

they are both COMITEC, but i think thee new one is a HAIR thicker.....

dont have specs in front of me.... but the new one looked a hair thicker.... maybe because the old one has allready been compressed?
