tsp torquer..whats need to install

Default tsp torquer..whats need to install

ok i was looking at the tsp cam. pretty much made up my mind. now i was also going to buy the gasket kit from tsp along with a ported oil pump. next is what springs, retainers, pushrods, etc should i and will i need. i need to get it all lined up so i can start buying the peices while i save up for the tune/ install. also will i need anything else?

springs, and pushrods. retainers are not absolutely necessary.

well i dont want to sacrifice things. if the are recommended then i think i need to get them. also what about lifters? car is a 99 but only has 13k on it.

We have the Torquer v2, PRC Dual spring kit, and 7400 pushrods for $689.99 right now. The only other parts you would need would be the cam gasket kit. We also have timing sets and ported pumps if you need them. Feel free to call us or email us if you have any questions!

Do you ever install the torquer with 918's TSP? I prefer 918's over duals.

it also says with the dual springs i will need new seats etc. are those included or do they need to be purchased extra?

They are included as well. I have just finished installing this same kit Brian is talking about. Top notch equipmet and top notch service. Do yourself a favor and buy the kit & gaskets.

The 918's are good out to .600 lift..the TSP duals are good to .650 lift..that is why I went with the TSP spring kit with the torquer cam install..I have 15,000 miles on them and like them a lot..nuff said..

They come with the kit..buy it it is the best deal for the money spent..got 15,000 miles on them and running fine ..car is a DD..

You get the dual springs, titanium retainers, seats, and seals..I already had the push rods and didn't need them..

How did you like the torquer v2 on the street? I considered doin a h/c but chose to just go w/ a cam only and build a drag car later on. I only have 7k on my car. Is this a good cam to go with and will it make decent numbers? I have pretty much all other bolt-ons. Thanks! TTT!

My car made the numbers in my sig with bolt ons and through the muffler with out a pully..It is a good strong cam...make its power above 3500 RPM's...and it is suited for frequint trips to the track...you are going to need to use 4.10 gears and have a very good tune on the car..I have been using it as a dailey driver for 15,000 miles...
