How much does head porting cost?
How much does head porting cost? I was just wondering, I was quoted 300 to port my stock heads and 50 for my TB...I was just wondering if that was a decent price. I have seen the guys work and it looks pretty good to me, I've also gotten alot of feedback from other people that have gone to him.
Porting can vary a great deal. It just all depends on how much time is spent. The more time, the more cash, the "better" the port job. Obviously it's only worth it to a certain point. I'd say that's 4-6 hours of labor, and should end up ok. If you like his work, then why not?
