Default Installation Question. LT's and H/C

I have a set of Kooks LT's, and eventually I plan to install a H/C combo. I'm dreading having to jack the car up a mile to get the headers in, but something just dawned on me.

Can the headers go in from the top if the heads are removed? If so, it sure would get me into a H/C combo far sooner.

I imagine that even if it's still not possible to get the headers in from the top, I wouldn't have to jack it up as high.

Does anybody know?

I was able to get the passengers side header in from the top. But I could not get the drivers side in...with the heads removed.

Thanks, Lith. I guess you would know .

Bummer, it wasn't the steering linkage that got in the way, was it?

Good luck with your car BTW. Hang in there on that sucker. You'll get it going.
