Hi there everybody. I am doing research on everything I want to buy to build my nice LS1.

I was wondering if there was a sticky anywhere. There seem to be a lot of different castings that will fit the LSx block.

All I know is that the 5.3 heads raise compression, but do they make more power, do they need to be ported?

So pretty much, what are the different castings for the lsx and exactly what are the desirable and undesirable ones?
