Stock rocker ratio 1.7 is what you are gonna want to stick with. Your choice in the LS6 cam looks like you are serious about FI. I would say that 918 springs from Comp would be more than adequate.

I believe stock valves are 1.55". Are you just getting a valve job done on a set of stock heads? No porting, etc..? If so, a good valve job on a set of stock F-body valves will suit you fine and there cheap. We did this on my cousins pickup that had the LS-6 cam and a powerdyne. We also used GM LS-6 springs. As for rocker arms, just use your stockers. They've been proven for over double what your gunna make. If you have to get something, send your stockers to Nasty Performance and have him send them in for a rebuild with high end parts.

damn you got a 454 LS2

i want to get a 4-5 angle port job and all that. i'm gonna swap the block first with the 4.8 stocks heads so i don't blow up my tranny by the time i get a 4l80 i'll swap heads and install a rear mounted turbo that's been waiting to get installed for a while damn this modding never ends haha

PS the casting #'s on my heads are 853 if that helps on my question....

You need to talk to whoever is doing the FI work. The Comp's may work, but may require shimming to keep spring seat pressures high enough so they can still control the valves. Since you are running a relatively low lift cam, keep it that way with the stock rocker arms. Higher lift rockers will require more spring force and shimming of the springs would have to be reduced.

Run the numbers on the Comp 918's, you can probably get to 145# seat and still make your lift, or look at the Patriots which will shim up better for seat and still have plenty of spring left for your lift.
