I'm looking to find out what a certain part is on my 98 Z. It's a black solenoid on the driverside valve cover towards the front of the car. There is a vacuum line from right behind the throttle that runs to the front of this solenoid. On the back of the solenoid runs a fuel line that makes a 90 degree turn and runs next to the fuel feed line. Also on the back of the solenoid there is a red and blue two wire electrical connector.

What is this "solenoid"?

That's your EVAP purge solenoid.
