The ported MAF could F*** up a tune. I know a local tunner who will not even tune a car if the MAF is not stock and untouched. My car runs great with the same cam. I was tunned on the street and have not ben able to get to the Dyno yet. I do get the gas smell when cold, if you stand behind the car. No stalling or surging, or problems at low rpm's at all.

I really don't know what they did to the MAF....for one thing they cleaned it, but as far as I know they also enlarged it somewhat, I am not sure though. And it's not like the car is a stumbeling fool, it just surges when it's cold. When it's warm it is fine although at speeds around 30 to 35 mph in 4th gear, it tends to be close to bucking even when warm.

look at you dyno sheet. if the a/f is around 12.8-13.0 and your getting roughty 26-29 degrees of max timing, you gonna be pissed when you drive to tampa to spend 500 bucks and gain 6 hp.
you cant magically tune hp that isnt there
fyi i did 367 hp and 362 ftlbs with 224 cam and stock heads. now i make under 400 hp (roughly 395-400) and the car goes 11.50 @ just under 125 mph with just a tire swap

Hmm...my dyno sheet doesn't show any of those, neither A/f, let alone timing. Since my computer was used to hook the car up on the dyno, I still have their Winpep Software on there and my run files...so I can sorta screw with them, but I didn't see any options for the A/F or timing in there, I guess all that was in his Laptop and LS1 Edit.
It still doesn't quite drive the way it should IMHO. Being close to bucking at 35 mph in 4 th gear when the car is warmed up doesn't seem right to me.
