double roller and oil pump

hi everyone. i was just wondering if there is any modifications that i need to use a double roller chain? i was also wondering what i have to do to shim the pump. basically what do i need to do in order to use this chain. any info would be appreciated.

You will most likely have fittament problems and have to shim as well. your best bet is the LS2 chain.

I've been running a rollmaster double (with provided oil pump shims) and a ported oil pump for 2-1/2 years with no problems.

Most double rollers come with the shims. Not a problem.

yea when you buy the double roller, it comes with the shims needed to space out the pump. i lost mine and had to make my own. took a little bit of time but came out pretty all right

do you just shim were the pick up is or where exactley do you shim? sorry for the dumb questions for you guys but i just want to know everything when i go in to do this project. what do you guys suggest? i only have 30,000 miles so should i just go with a ls2 chain (is it just the chain or do i change the gears too?) or go with a double roller? any help would be appreciated. thanks Vince.
