Another pic showing the flat where the lifter trays ride. Notice the wear pattern is on wide side indicating the tray is not square with respect to the lifter. Time for LS2 trays!

I just pulled mine out tonight and they did not look like that at all. I have 45K on my stockers. Comp 850-16's going in.

ttt for this one. I just pulled the lifters on one side of the engine and I had a few lifters that looked like this last pic. No pitting but some strange wear patterns.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I had a quick question.
I plan on running a TREX cam in my daily driver and am trying to figure out what lifter would be the best to run in this application. I have been told Comp R's but have heard that they can be problematic at times. What would you all run with the TREX?
