Here is the cam card from my cam that is VERY similar to the x3 on a 114 split. It will be in my GTO with an m6, 3.91 gears and Dart stage 2 heads from TSP.

You wont even tell the difference. I've had several cams in my car and I've changed plenty for others. Everyone gets tied up in splitting durations and lifts. I could BARELY tell the difference between a 228 or a 236 cam as far as drivability goes. Power wise you're splitting hairs too.

If comparing two cams of different durations (228 vs 232) and ramp rates if you keep them on the same 112 or 114, they will sound the same and make similar power, until a power adder compounds the minute differences.

Both cams will get you 400 rwhp, buy the one that's cheapest for you.

The F14 is more comparable to the X3.

well whos faster???

g5x3 gets my vote but both are great cams.
