918 w/ls6 retainers?
I have ls6 springs on my heads right now and was wondering if the 918s will
be a direct bolt in,since they are both beehive springs will it work?

The factory spring pressure numbers I'm quoting are approximant. Yes the 918's should set up in place of your factory LS6 springs.

will the 918's work with factory LQ9 valvetrain? Anyone know the factory specs for those verses what I'd have with the 918's?
(I'm replacing the stock LS1 heads with the LQ9's to drop the CR on my STS car. If I change the cam, it will be a to a small, very, very, very streetable cam. I want the boost to make the car wild when i want and the cam to keep it mild when i don't.)

i'm actually looking into buying a cam "package" at this point. Hopefully, the I can find a deal on a package that'll include everything I need (cam, pushrods, springs, retainers, etc)
I only plan on revving this motor to 62-6300 as it'll have a completely stock bottom end. it'll see 10-12psi, 9.6-9.7:1 CR (swapping to stock 6.0L heads), running on pump gas... shooting for 600rw at this level.

I was planning the same thing and then got a great deal on a set of ported heads so I have a set of ls6 retainers (used) and 918 springs (new in box). I dont need them anymore and will let the set go for $175.
