Default 1998 heads

Do 1998 heads have a different bolt pattern than 1999+

Will they bolt up to 1999 and up blocks?

They should bolt right up to the block. The only difference in bolt patterns is on the valve covers. The '98's have the perimeter bolt pattern on the covers where the 99+ have the center bolt pattern.
