Default Q about a TR224 cam?

Ive got a 01 WS6 in which I just installed a TR224 112LSA. It seems to me that its not lopping as much as it was. Ive heard others on LS1sounds.com with the same cam and they sound much better than mine. I know for sure the cam I got was the correct one. Its idleing about 800RPM. The car used to through a SES light (multipule engine missfire) and is no longer anymore. HPtuners is on its way, so do think its all in the tuning or did my timing chain strech(if that would make it run smoother i don't know)? It seems not to have lost any power. I know the new LS2 chain lined up correctly. Little advice please
