Default idle for a voodoo 222/228 cam?

will this cam have a mean lobe at idle? the lift is .568 and the separation is 113. Also will it be possible to drive this car (for a very short period) without a tune? I am replacing the heads with stock ported heads (intake 293/exhaust 202) Will I be able to drive it a few hundred miles to the tuner without damage after head/cam installed?

It's going to idle like a stocker overlap is -1 at .050. should be good with a stock set of heads and shimmed 918 springs; cause of the agressivenes of the initial ramp rate. I understand these are asymetrical lobes.

i'm curious about this cam too.... how will it work with a stock intake, exhaust manifolds, & porting?

would it be OK with CC 915 springs?

I would advise that you go with the 918's for insurance reasons.
I had a 222/226 and drove it without a tune for a year.
