are there any disadvantages to the 97-98 #806 heads if they are ported. I know they dont flow well from the factory but are they about even with ported 241's? You can get them very cheap thats why i am tempted to just get them. Im not looking to have a crazy motor. If they will support close to 400hp to the wheels with a cam and lt's thats all i want.

Hey, I've got some ported #806 castings to sell if you are interested. They've got the 918 springs already on them.

They made 403 rwhp w/ longtubes and a .581/.572 lift 224/230 duration cam. But I'm convinced that they'll make more with a better tune.
