Default Power Steering Pump removal problem: SOLVED

So I was knee-deep in my heads/cam swap when it came time to do the nasty. As I was scratching my head and swearing at my car, I rememberd I had this tool sitting with my Mountain Bike Overhaul kit.

You can get it at any bike shop, I don't recall it being too expensive. It's small, strong, and cut the pump bracket removal time down to 1 minute - piece of cake.

Or you can just rent a power steering pulley puller and have it done faster....its much easier to get to those bolts once the pulley is off.

at about 1 minute to take the whole bracket off, I think I'll choose the simpler way.

God bless you for this extremely handy solution. I just started teardown today and ran accross this post. I took my laptop to the bike shop down the street. The guy put one on order for me and let me borrow his for the time being. This is a must have for anyone attempting H/C installs. Dude, you rock!

Nice tool, but luckily I have the Turn One Pump and their pulley. It'll take me a minute to get the pump off now
