408ci iron block 11.28:1 SCR
6.0L block
Eagle Forged LS1 Crank 4" Stroke
Callies LS1 Rods
Diamond Pistons(-2cc)
AFR 225cc 72 heads (unmilled for now)
Cometic Gaskets (.040 thick)
EDC custom Cam (not sure on base circle dimensions)
Comp 850-16 OE lifters
Using Comp Cams 7702-1 pushrod checker which is 6.8 base length. I had to open it Approx 10.60(comp states 0.050 increase in length for every 360 degrees turned on pushrod) turns to reach zero lash, using the procedure found here in post #2 (https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=465218).
So 10.6 * 0.050 = 0.53
6.8(original length) + 0.53(increase) = 7.33 + 0.065 (preload) = 7.395
So I guess I need 7.4 (stock length) pushrods huh? LOL
Anyone see any issues?

Does this seem feasible that with the AFR heads, thinner head gasket, and probably different base circle on the cam that the Pushrods would stay the same length as stock?
Thanks
