Default My head surprise!!

Figured I would post this up and see what you guys think. Just got my heads back from the machine shop that put bronze valve guides in, did a 3 angle valve job on my manley 2.02 I, 1.575 E, and back cut the intake valves. Well, me and Franz were checking them out since the shop cleaned them up real good and noticed on the side of the head, its got "LPEXXX008" stamped on it. The heads had previously been ported. The person i bought them off of is a user on here, and all he knew about the heads when he sold them to me bare for $150 is they were 853 cast heads that had been ported and they came off of his 2000 corvette road racing car. i called LPE(Lingenfelter) today and they said these were CNC ported heads from them. The tech guy gave me some specs on them including flow numbers. It looks like the heads have been ported again though, so i dont know what kind of flow numbers they have now but i will in a few days b/c i am gonna have them flowed. they also seem to have been milled quite a bit so i am gonna have the combustion chamber cc'd to see how much, but by a dial caliper, it showed .070 difference from my heads to a set of stock heads. its ok though, i have 4cc valve reliefs in the pistons that these heads will go with, so my camshaft should be fine, though i will check P-V clearance anyway.
HERE IS THE SPECS I GOT FROM LPE:
228ccI volume, 85ccE volume CNC ported
Flow numbers with 2.02 I, 1.575 E valves, which is what i have:
Lift I E
200 154 110
300 220 162
400 262 189
500 277 211
600 289 221
They didnt have any info on whether the heads had been milled from them or not, but its not a big deal. I am gonna get them checked. Looks like i actually lucked out and got a decent set of heads for almost nothing. I couldnt believe I got this lucky.
