Checklist for Heads/Cam Install...
Checklist for Heads/Cam Install... With so much stuff to get, I want to make sure I have everything for the install so I wont have to make 27 trips to town to buy something or wait weeks for parts on order. Here is what I have:
AFR Heads (milled .024") fully assembled
Cometic Head Gaskets (.040")
ARP Head Bolts
FM13 Cam
7.400" Hardened Pushrods (see below)
Lunati Lifters
Ported Oil pump w/new o-ring
New knock sensors and wire harness (I broke a connector)
Valley cover gasket
Four coolant pipe/plug gaskets
Intake Manifold Gaskets
Reusing water pump and timing cover gaskets from previous cam install
Valve cover gaskets
Exhaust Manifold gaskets
New crank bolt
Pwr Steering Pump shaft seal
I have all the necessary fluids...coolant, oil, pwr steering
PCM sent to Jeff Creech for tuning
Things I have to check:
PR length with checker
PtV Clearance w/Dial Indicator
Anything I am missing? I had so much on my mind with this F13 going bad its hard to know if I got everything...is it all here?
