Head and cam package?

Head and cam package? Hey guys im getting another 01 trans am from this guy really cheap. (10000) It has a head and cam package and other upgrades like strange 12 bolt rear and many more supporting mods. The car has 70000 miles on it and I dont know how its been run. My plan is to swap the parts out onto my 01 TA and then make his car stock again to sell for a profit. Does anybody know how this will effect the life of my engine? Basically is it worth it and realistically what rwhp will this net me.

both cars will need a new tune because if i read correct your installing h/c onto the car your keeping and then taking the car that currectly has the h/c setup and putting it back to stock, so both cars will need a tune. as for rwhp, it all depends on the h/c and intake...etc.
if he sawped computers he should be fine and not need a tune.I dont see the to bottom ends being that far apart.the rear end gear ratio may be a problem if it has a different ratio.but I am assuming you are going to swap that as well?

You can download the tune if it hasn't been locked using the same software and flash it to the other car.
