my buddy has an 02 vette with a good amount of mods, he runs a large turbo and is making a little over 700rwhp. currently however, his motor is torn apart leaving only the shortblock in the car. at this point, the motor will absolutely not turn over. the transmission is is neutral and the motor wont even turn AT ALL. its as if it is held by the jaws of life. 500ftlbs of torque and nothing, it just wont turn, what could be wrong?

 

How about a little more info? How long was the engine sitting with the heads off? It certainly doesnt sound good.....
