starting to tear apart my motor...im tryin to get myself ready for an engine swap....ive never pulled a motor on any car never mind a ls1...any one got some tips or hints on how to do this ?? im a novice and ill have some help from my friends but im debating or not to have a shop do it...but i really dont have the cash for that. and i decided to pull it from the top...so my question being is this possible in my driveway with a few friends and some tools ?

 

Its not rocket science. If you're mechanically inclined you can learn it, but I'd recommend getting some experienced friends to help you.
