Default ETP heads and what cam?

Just curious as to what cam you can run without PTV issues and what CR can you run?
I tried a search and came up with a few threads, but nothing about the above questions though.
Can someone open some light on this please? Thanks

I believe there's a couple guys here with ET's and big cams. One guy running a T-Rex and the other an MS3. Search for SlickVert, I believe he's one of them.

TSP told me my MS3 will clear and I have the 215 ETP with 62cc so my CR should be around 10.8 to 1. Should have the install done in a couple of months.

Wow, I did not think that those cams would clear. Once I have time, I will make some phone calls as I would like to run the G5X3 cam. But, I want to bump my CR up to around 11.1.

TTT

Just curious how big of a cam will fit with the 215's as well as what CR can be achieved. If the T-Rex can clear I'm sure my G5X4 will clear. I just don't like the idea of having to flycut my pistons. That's what is so appealing about the ETP heads.

Just FYI, I went with the PRC Stage II Darts from TSP with a 90/90 set up with the X3 cam and.040" gaskets. Im sure that I will have to notch the pistons though.

I am running ETP 215 58 cc, .040 heads gasket and T-Rex.
Compression is SCR 11.8 and DCR 8.7.
The ET215’s have way more PTV then the ET225 and by far more then any other heads on the market with that size chamber.

EVERY cam that is offered by our sponsors that fits stock heads will fit the ET's, even if you run a .040 gasket.
These heads have a good amount more room for a cam then the stock heads do.
That is one reason the price isn't as bad.
You can save money in renting a flycuting tool and paying someone to do the job.

No, none yet. I just got the heads in today.

I have all ready:

Stage II Darts
90 TB
G5X3 cam

Still need:

90mm Intake (ordered)
.040" gaskets (ordered)
pushrods
lifters
injectors
timing chain
oil pump

So, i still need a few parts so it might not be till next month before I can get it all installed and on the rollers.
