Default Taking Off The Heads Only...tech Help Please

I need to take off just the heads on my 2000 CORVETTE, anyone have a tech page for this? On LS1HOWTO.com it covers heads and cam install, but I need something that is more specific to just the heads, I know I don't need to remove everything (radiator, power steering rack, etc) to remove a head. Any help would be great.

Micah

I wrote one based on LS1Howto.com but it includes my Crane valvetrain. I can e-mail it to you if you would like it.

There's an f-body howto on ls1howto.com. Ive not doing h/c on a vetter but I wouldnt imagine anything to be drasticly different. Probably just the accessories and various panels to get out of the way.

Its probably not a lot different, and I did some mixing and matching from the f-body and Vette instructions and my own from the Service Manual. Lucky for you f-body guys you don't have to remove the steering rack for the cam, I didn't find it too bad but it would be easier to service the damper and other parts if you didn't have to remove this every time. I even had to make special tools to turn the motor over since the rack is only 1/2" from the damper
