received engine pullout, need help
Hello,
I purchased a 2002 engine pullout for converting my 91 Z28 to an LS1 w/ T-56. However, I received something that I am not sure what I got. I know I can search, but at this point I need some reassurances as I just supposedly plonked down $5678 for a 33K miles pullout.
Block # 12559378.
Heads # 241.
Exhaust manifolds have EGR.
Intake #12561184.
Gas tank is plastic, any particular numbers I should search for?
Fuel lines are metal.
Is a 2002 supposed to have AIR injection, and if so, where do I identify it?
I did not receive an ECU, so I can't identify that, though I was supposed to get it.
Are there any numbers I need to search for?
I'm at a loss and a bit flustered as the company I bought it from is supposed to be reputable. Before calling them or sending off an e-mail, I need more information as to identify what exactly do I have and to basically calm down. Is it really an 02, or not.
Thank you very much for your assistance.

What do you mean 2 holes? I have an EGR tube coming off the passenger and driver's side manifold, running to a check valve. After the check valve, it doesn't connect to anything, it's just missing the other tubing. The tube has 2 bolts that bolt to the manifolds on either side, a typical EGR look. I also have the cats, but can only assume they aren't for a 2002 as they are bolted to the manifolds, and the y-pipe.
What about AIR? How does that look like?

If the intake manifold does not have a big hole in the top then you have no EGR, which I am assuming because of the intake part number. The hole in the exhaust manifold is probably just the AIR system hole.

AIR comes from a pump located on the drivers side right behind the headlight. It has a air hose that goes from it to the air tubes that you see on your new motor. After the check valves, the tubes should go into the exhaust manifolds.

Yes, visuals are required. Is the pump belt driven?
