Default Did i make a good cam choice

Is the 228r what i needed or should i have gone bigger to work with the mods i have? I wanted to keep mid range torque. that's why i didn't opt for a bigger cam to start with. when money allows i plan on a set of afr 205's and a fast 90/90

Seems like that would work. I understand why you didnt want to go bigger, but the bigger you go the more you lose off the bottom end.

you will be happy with that cam.big enough for improvements down the road but not too big for your current setup.will not have any worries about p/v clearance either.

Thanks guys. With the stall the car starts to move at 2500 rmps and i think that cam started to make power just before that. It rises very quickly to 4K so I'm hoping thats were the big power differance from the stock cam comes in to play.
