i am about to get ready to put my cam in. Are there any tips on putting my double roller kit and ls6 oil pump on?? how do i shim and all that.. not accustomed to front mounted oil pumps...

 

The shims go behind the oil pump and mount up to the block. I just finished doing mine. Make sure you line up the hole the right way on the shim on the drivers side. People have flipped it and it will cut off some of the oil flow. I put a little permatex on it also. On the crank I used our 3 way jaw puller. And it pops then comes off really easy.
