Default 383 assembly ?

I am currently rebuilding my ls6 block and making it into a 383. I have knoched the bottom bores to clear the rod bolts. Ground them to clear.050" or more. I also ground down #8 piston to clear the reluctor wheel. How much clearance needs to be from the bottom of the piston to the reluctor to be safe????? Need to know soon...getting close to fininshing!!!!

Are you sure one of your pistons wasn't already clearanced for the reluctor??

You need a min. of ~ .060"-.070" between any moving parts.
