I was told that I could bolt on a pair of high flow 6liter heads of a denali or escalade, on to my 2001 Silverado 4.8liter. This came from a GM tech who said it would give me a fairly substantial hp boost. Has anyone heard of such a thing? And if so, does anyone know which heads I need to be looking for on ebay as far as casting number? Thanks

 

317 castings are the ones that you are looking for. Don't know what kind of power you should expect from it though.
