Quick question about patriot heads. I bought some patriot stage 2 ls6 heads a while back intending to use them on a N/A motor but my plans have changed as usual and i ordered a turbo kit. The heads have a 59cc and if im going to use them i need around a 72cc. Is it possible to go from a 59cc to a 72cc if i take them to a machine shop?
My 243 casting Patriot heads are around 62cc and was thinking in a few years that I could just have them machine the combustion chamber to open them up a bit. I guess it's all dependent upon ur goals. I guess it's not the *best* solution, but would work just fine depending on the amout of boost. Part of the gm casting might be a little too thin in some areas to want to have a lot of boost with.
