Default What will adding 4 degrees of exhaust duration do?

I have an F13 (230/232) 111+1 cam and have to take it out to send it to Futral. I'm thinking about just buying another cam. I'm thinking about a 230/236 112+2 cam to replace it with. Seeing that they have the same intake duration and ICL, what will adding just 4* of exhaust duration do as far as power and where it peaks?

It pretty much won't do anything. Your only changing your IVC by 1/2 a degree and overlap will stay exactly the same. The intake valve closing is what determines your peak, and your not changing it. The longer duration might help if you have a poor exaust port/system, but that's likley going to be neglagent.

Thanks for the help.

Can anyone figure out the DCR for both cams? My calculator is giving me 11.26

If you sprayed the car it would make a little more power...but even with spray you are going to see a small gain. Not worth it.....
