Quick LSA & ICL question

Default Quick LSA & ICL question

If I had 2 identical cams (lets just use a 224/224 cam), but one was on a 112+4 and the other was on a 110+2, giving both cams a 108 ICL, would the valve events on the intake side be identical, and only the exhaust events change?
Am I understanding this or am I way off? I've read the cam stuff, still tryin to get it straight though.

The 110LSA cam will make better mid-range torque (because of later EVO) and will carry peak power out further in rpm (because your overlap is more intake-biased).

ok got it. I guess thats where I got it backwards, I thought it would have an earlier EVO instead of later.

By waiting longer to crack open the exhaust valve, you spend more time on the power stroke, increasing your torque production. To do this takes an excellent exhaust though. No problem with headers, just a problem with stock manifolds. LS1s with all the bolt-on mods seem to respond well to narrow LSA cams.
