Direction of hole in lifter

Direction of hole in lifter Which direction does the hole in the side of the lifter face when you place them in the lifter trays? I'm guessing it must go toward the valley side. I'm installing a set of StageII heads and bigger cam as well as putting Comp Rs and drilling the plastic trays at the same time.l

soak them in oil overnight after you clean them before the install...use adjustable rockers only..
