Default I have the worst car luck ever...

so as some of you know when i first got my car back i had soundengineer (my tuner) come and do a idle tune and put down a safe tune so i could put some miles on it to break it in before doing a full tune.

i had my car back for like a week drove it like 50 miles then it blew a head gasket, aaron (my mechanic) replaced that for free (minus the parts),

then another week went by and my clutch started slipping. while i am waiting on my textralia to ship in i start losing oil pressure and it got down to about 25 psi at idle that keeps dropping the warmer it gets.

im ******* pissed now i just want to drive my car and not have all these bullshit problems, so it goes back in to aaron, he drains the oil and there is almost 2.5 gallons of liquid in it. i put about 6.5 quarts of oil in it when i filled it up, and the rest is ******* gasoline.

aaron finally got time and pulled the motor again yesterday, today he ripped it apart, my tsp 231/237 cam is fucked. atleast one lifter is gone and my main bearings are toast.

now i dont know who to blame for this... the compression on the cylinders were 140-150 all the way around, so i know its not the rings that are letting all the fuel in the oil. i think its possibly soundengineers tune. im not bashing anyone cause i dont know anything for sure, but i know that i didnt do anything that would cause any of this. i just want to figure this out, cause i am still in highschool and have to pay for all my own ****. i def. dont have enough money to pay for all of this.... i dont know what the **** i am going to do

i am just pissed off right now.... none of this should have happened. and the lifter thing is what happened in my 383 too but caught it sooner this time hopefully.

i have dumped over $18000 into this car and have driven it maybe 200 miles in 6 months. **** **** **** **** ****

/rant

any support/opinions is appreciated

kyle

How do you think gasoline got into your oil?
About the only way I know would be a leaking injector.
If you test your injectors and find one leaking, who will you blame that on?

Welcome to the club.

I've also had my un-fair amount of B.S. with my car last year.

I think/hope, everything is worked out, and am looking forward to getting out of winter storage soon - and like your said, just enjoy the darn thing after so many headaches.

hang in there!

I know how you feel. I have had my fair share of problems too. I just stuck with it and now my car is pretty stable. Hang in there. I would guess a leaky injector with that much gas coming out. Maybe a really rich idle tune.

I'm seeing 36#s in your sig. I'm guessing either injectors weren't scaled or
something? I'd look to the injectors for that much fuel. Sorry about your problems.
